SEFAR LIGHTFRAME® -

a modular frame system for light-permeable ceilings and wall panels of textile

With its patented, detail-free frame design, Lightframe is an attractive element for artificial and natural lighting effects and for quality improvements to room acoustics. Narrow joint-lines and an elliptically shaped rigid profile stand for virtually shadow-free and uniform distribution of light. The modules, constantly wrinkle-free, covered with foil and membrane, are 2-ply and dust-tight and act simultaneously as sound absorbers.

Areas of use

Highly translucent ceilings and wall panels, sails and lights, removable for inspection. From acoustic ceilings to diverse membrane structures and façade concepts - also for outdoor use.

Architecture - high-tech fabric

Innovative fluoropolymer fabrics can scatter maximum daylight or artificial light without being prone to colour shift (spectral reflectance) and are therefore, in comparison to other materials, a highly economical solution.
Uniform illumination which attenuates contrasts is guaranteed. The fabrics give the appearance of a light source; in fact, they act as light diffusers.

Depending on the choice of fabric, the character of the textile can be reinforced or subdued.

Special finishing techniques and coating materials provide a high UV resistance; no colour change takes place in the product. The fabrics are extremely strong and durable. All fabrics of the SEFAR architectural range are difficult to ignite: B1, in accordance with DIN 4102, producing little smoke and no burning droplets.
