The German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg needed a membrane structure for their Stadium, so that all their 30,000 fans can attend all their sports events on rainy or super sunny days.
The membrane structure consists of 32 radial trusses arranged at intervals of up to 14 meters with an individual length of up to 40 meters. This supporting system is mounted at a height of 33 meters. The individual membrane fields of the membrane structure shows dimensions of up to 14 x 36 meters, which are mounted between these radial trusses and are stabilized against snow and wind. 20,000 sqm of membrane material for the membrane structure was required to cover the seating area below.

Membrane structures by Ceno are used worldwide and especially Stadium owners found its advantage of using Ceno’s membrane structures for their grandstands.
